The Rinzai Zen Mission is pleased to invite you, your family, and friends to our Obon service and dance.
Please come and experience the traditional dance styles of Okinawa, the only one of its kind on Maui.
Schedule is as follows:
Saturday, August 19
6:00 p.m. – Service
7:00 p.m. – Bon DanceHelping to celebrate will be our wonderful supporters Rev. Hoshi, Rev. Kajiro, and Rev.Chisaka with daughter Tae from Myoshinji School of Rinzai Zen in Japan.
We look forward to seeing all of you as we share our live Okinawan music and performances as well as the delicacies offered by the Maui Okinawa Kenjin Kai.

Our Bon Dance practice will be held on August 8 at 7:00 p.m. Like last year, this will be the only practice before Obon. Please come and enjoy practicing for
Maui’s only Okinawan Bon Dance.

さいます。 大きな踊りの輪に加えてお参りも例年
