The 2017 Rinzai Maui Obon Festival is being held August 19th
the Service begins at 6pm and the Dance Starts at 7pm
The Rinzai Zen Mission is pleased to invite you, your family, and friends to our Obon service and dance. Please come and experience the traditional dance styles
of Okinawa, the only one of its kind on Maui.
Helping to celebrate will be our wonderful supporters Rev. Hoshi, Rev. Kajiro, and Rev.Chisaka with daughter Tae from Myoshinji School of Rinzai Zen in Japan.
We look forward to seeing all of you as we share our live Okinawan music and performances as well as the delicacies offered by the Maui Okinawa Kenjin Kai.
